Battalion 1 is located the northeast corner of Tehama County. The Battalion stretches from the base of the foothills on the east side of the Sacramento Valley to the Plumas County line, and from the Shasta County line south to the Butte County line. Battalion 1 encompasses the communities of Manton, Mineral, Mill Creek, Paynes Creek, and Ponderosa Sky Ranch.
