CAL FIRE Manton Station is a one-engine state station and houses Engine 2561, a type 3 fire engine. The station is staffed during the summer preparedness period with 2 Fire Captains, and 7 Firefighters. Manton Station is responsible for the protection of numerous watersheds, commercial timberlands, vineyards, and wineries within its response area, along with all-risk incidents in the community of Manton and the lower parts of Shingletown ridge in Shasta County.
