Welcome to the Tehama County Fire Marshal’s Office

The Tehama County Fire Protection Planning Bureau consists of the Fire Marshal, two Tehama County Fire Prevention/Fire Safety Inspectors and one Office Assistant III in that office for a total of 4 people at the fire Marshal’s Office. As mandated by California Fire Code, our goal is to provide direction, information and education to the citizens of Tehama County to best prevent injury to commercial employees or the public as well as reduce fire loss to commercial properties or production.

The Office of the County Fire Marshal is committed to provide professional fire and life safety engineering, permitting and inspection services for our citizens through exemplary customer service, leadership, education, analysis, innovation and partnership with the development and business community.
