Baker is two engine year- round station. Baker houses E2553, E2583, and U2553. It serves the communities west of Red Bluff to the Shasta County line. The response area also shares boundaries with the Shasta – Trinity and Mendocino National Forests. In addition to emergency response, Baker has several fuels reduction and vegetation management projects they are currently working on. These projects will help fire crews keep fires small and protect homes, property, and infrastructure during large fires.
