Tehama County Fire Station 12

Station/Company 12 (Corning) is located in the City of Corning. The current location started in 1976. It is staffed 24/7 through a cooperative agreement between CAL FIRE and Tehama County. It houses Battalion 2514, Engine 112, Engine 212, Engine 612, Water Tender 812, and Squad 412. Company 12 was founded on June 11, 1962. The Corning response area is very diverse with several large commercial fixed facilities, Black Butte Lake, the Rolling Hills Casino, and a large area of wildland urban interface. The station responds to an average of 1,400 calls per year and both Station 12 and Company 12 personnel are very active in the community with fundraisers, parades, and other events. Station 12 also is the Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) repair and maintenance facility for CAL FIRE/Tehama County Fire Department.
