Tehama County Fire Station 16
Station/Company 16 (Vina) was formed on May 3, 1983. Twelve charter members attended training sessions from January 1983 to May 1983. Engine 116, equipped with basic firefighting and first-aid equipment, was provided by the county and was housed in a barn in Vina. In May of 1985 the county accepted a land donation from Andersen & Sons Ranch in Vina. The current Station 16 was formally dedicated on September 15, 1990, and houses Engine 616 and Water Tender 916. One charter member continues service with Company 16.
