Station/Company 9 (El Camino) was formed on August 21, 1958. Company 9 is one of the busiest companies in Tehama County. Company 9 serves the communities of El Camino, Proberta, Gerber, Los Flores, and South Red Bluff. The Walmart Distribution Center is located within the Company 9 response area along with the Tehama Colusa Canal, and several large fixed commercial facilities.

Engine 2553 is currently housed at Tehama County Fire Station 9 during the construction of the new Baker CAL FIRE Station.
